Question in German (English below): Es gibt bereits die Rechtsformen der europäischen Aktiengesellschaft (SE) und die der europäischen, wirtschaftlichen Interessenvereinigung (EWIV). Setzen Sie sich auch für ein optionales "europäisches Vereinsstatut" ein um grenzüberschreitendes Engagement in Europa zu anderen Zwecken (sozial, kulturell, Klimaschutz, Sport, usw.) zu stärken? In den aktuellen Europawahlprogrammen der Grünen (S. 84 f.), FDP (S. 11) und SPD (S. 74) ist das Thema enthalten. Werden Sie auch solche Initiativen unterstützen?
English: There are already the legal forms of the European Company (SE) and the European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG). Are you also working for an optional "European Association Statute" to strengthen cross-border engagement in Europe for other purposes (social, cultural, climate change, sports, etc.)? The topic is included in the current European election programs of the Greens (p. 84 f.), FDP (p. 11) and SPD (p. 74). Will you support such initiatives as well?
Transnationalism is part of Demokratie in Europa's DNA. Naturally we support any and all initiatives that make that principle into a reality.
